Professor Li Fufeng is a specially appointed expert at Shuguang Hospital affiliated with Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. She primarily focuses on the treatment of cough, spleen and stomach diseases, and the management of sub-health conditions using traditional Chinese medicine.
Professor Li Fufeng is an expert in Traditional Chinese Medicine Diagnostics from the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine's key discipline. She is also an ISO/TC249 registered expert for international standards in traditional Chinese medicine, a standing director of the World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies' Specialized Committee on TCM Diagnostic Instruments, and a member of the Chinese Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine's Specialized Committee on TCM Diagnostics. Her research primarily centers on the intelligentization of TCM diagnostics and its clinical applications. She has led and participated in over 20 projects, including those funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the National "Eleventh Five-Year" Science and Technology Support Program, the National 973 Program sub-project, the National "Thirteenth Five-Year" Key R&D Program, and Shanghai municipal-level projects.
She has applied for over 20 patents and software copyrights, with 15 already authorized. She has published more than 200 professional papers both domestically and internationally, including over 40 indexed by SCI/EI. She has served as editor-in-chief or associate editor for 8 textbooks and monographs. She has received 6 awards, including the second and third prizes of the Shanghai Science and Technology Progress Award.
Professor Li Fufeng has led the development of proprietary tongue diagnostic instruments, facial diagnostic instruments, pulse diagnostic instruments, TCM four-diagnostic instruments, and the "Yunzhi Diagnosis" series of health products (including the Yunzhi Diagnosis wearable pulse diagnostic wristband, the Yunzhi Diagnosis TCM constitution identification instrument, the Yunzhi Diagnosis portable TCM diagnostic system), and TCM and Western medicine service robots. Among these, the Yun TCM APP and Yun TCM smart mirror were showcased at the China Corporate Pavilion of the 2015 Milan Expo in Italy, receiving warm welcomes from visitors worldwide and high praise from the media. The second-generation intelligent TCM remote diagnosis and treatment system has been designed and upgraded, and is currently in mass production, soon to be available for TCM services in Europe.
